Hudik Imperial FC's Robin Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hudik Imperial FC from getting a goal against them. Karl Granqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Marco Etxahun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hudik Imperial FC's zone, Vilgot Hjortsberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Åström came out of the goal and Vilgot Hjortsberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Stortorget's Ricardo Ihintza got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Simon Tinglöf left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hudik Imperial FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mats Haegg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Jan-Ove Billström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kjell Ersman during the 30th minute. The FC Stortorget players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hudik Imperial FC were winning 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl Granqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hudik Imperial FC's Robin Åström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Hård in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match FC Stortorget got a corner. Hudik Imperial FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ricardo Ihintza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ricardo Ihintza made a great header on FC Stortorget's corner, it was just that Hudik Imperial FC's Robin Åström managed to reach the ball for a save.
