In the 3rd minute Uno Göransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Berggren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ingvar Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Båtskärsnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Blom came free, but Mikael Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Roland Røv got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lannavaara IF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edvin Målare 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After 26 minutes, Håkan Hedling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lannavaara IF and the Båtskärsnäs BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, one of Lannavaara IF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lannavaara IF. When the match had been going on for 27 minutes, Båtskärsnäs BK's Leif Sjöberg got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ingvar Svensson. After a defensive mix-up in Båtskärsnäs BK's zone, Carl Blom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Berggren came out of the goal and Carl Blom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Båtskärsnäs BK defense, Sven-Erik Sefastsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikael Berggren. The Båtskärsnäs BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikael Berggren should have stopped the shot. Mikael Berggren came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Lannavaara IF's Alvar Stenkvist. But to his dismay, Alvar Stenkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The Båtskärsnäs BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lannavaara IF were winning 2-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Målare to strike the kick off in the second half. When Roland Røv fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Båtskärsnäs BK's protests and gave Roland Røv a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, Roland Røv hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Båtskärsnäs BK's zone, Uno Göransson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Berggren came out of the goal and Uno Göransson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mikael Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uno Göransson in the 53rd minute of the match. Edvin Målare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Edvin Målare got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Leif Sjöberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikael Berggren made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Sven-Erik Sefastsson sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Sven-Erik Sefastsson took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Mikael Berggren to make any attempt to save it. Mikael Berggren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvar Stenkvist in the 65th minute. Edvin Målare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingvar Svensson having to interfere. With a little luck, Båtskärsnäs BK's Mikael Berggren got control of the ball when Håkan Hedling tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Båtskärsnäs BK getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Stefan Colin hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Filip Hellström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mikael Berggren. That made the score 2-8 in the 88 minute of play. Båtskärsnäs BK's Mikael Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Sefastsson in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Lannavaara IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Båtskärsnäs BK throughout the match.
