The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eric Classon to make the kick off. A collision led to Sponsored by Amex getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Peder Larsfält hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Torgny Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zé Carlos Borges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Classon's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Grums FK's Tobias Wikander got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Radko Savkov fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sponsored by Amex's protests and gave Radko Savkov a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Grums FK booed when Sponsored by Amex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radko Savkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute, Uno Källberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mårten Sellberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 99 played minutes, Grums FK's Tobias Wikander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zé Carlos Borges came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grums FK reached it. Sponsored by Amex's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
