The audience was convinced that Stig Albom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sture Brander was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When Axel Lidström came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Flens Ost fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Lidström couldn't finish the play. 26 minutes into the match, Svanskog RK's Boris Kullgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Trillkott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 29 minutes, Harry Nyström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svanskog RK and the Flens Ost players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Nordgren kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Svanskog RK's Boris Kullgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harry Trillkott narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Svanskog RK's Sture Brander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stig Albom in the 48th minute of play.

In the 52nd minute, Stig Albom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boris Kullgren's late challenge caught a Flens Ost's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Kullgren helped the player get up and apologised. A sloppy throw-in by Jörn Lindholm in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Svanskog RK's Boris Kullgren. When Valdemar Heggert fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svanskog RK's protests and gave Valdemar Heggert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Svanskog RK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Valdemar Heggert hit a great ball. Sture Brander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Albom in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, Svanskog RK's Sture Brander got control of the ball when Stig Albom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sture Brander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Albom in the 73rd minute. Kent Siggesson came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sture Brander could save by the left post. Svanskog RK's Sture Brander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Svanskog RK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Svanskog RK's Sture Brander got control of the ball when Stig Albom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Svanskog RK's Boris Kullgren got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Albom might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sture Brander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Stig Albom ran back to his position shaking his head. Sture Brander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stig Albom's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Karl-Erik Jonasson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Sture Brander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flens Ost.
