But to his dismay, Egil Carlsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Branislav Ivanović fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Seglora IF's protests and gave Branislav Ivanović a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Stig-Arne Rudkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tunnebro AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Tim Lilja was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tunnebro AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Seglora IF the free kick. Tim Lilja kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Egil Carlsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Eriberto Espinosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eriberto Espinosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Arne Rudkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 42 minutes on the clock, Boris Ekeberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Svante Stål made the kick off in the second half. Branislav Ivanović kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Tunnebro AIK's Oscar Bodin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Espinosa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tunnebro AIK reached it. In the 57th match minute, Seglora IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Lundström to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Espinosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Lilja in the 88th minute of the match.
