One of Lidhult RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Göteborg IF:s goal. The referee gave Göteborg IF a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joakim Bratt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lidhult RK's Karl-Erik Hökqvist. 2-1. When Dennis Allbom fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Göteborg IF's protests and gave Dennis Allbom a yellow card for diving instead. Dennis Allbom hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Axel Berg to strike the kick off in the second half. When Bengt Anundsson came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Göteborg IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Anundsson couldn't finish the play. Karl-Erik Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt Anundsson in the 66th minute of the match. Axel Berg in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristoffer Magnusson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Birger Nordmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Magnusson having to interfere. If Bengt Anundsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. Joseph Björklund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Axel Berg in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kristoffer Magnusson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
