Spectators: 7192 (Terracing: 5395, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Morgan Edström took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Kent Blomqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bjärred FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 12th minute, Kent Blomqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Morgan Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjärred FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Morgan Edström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morgan Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Viggo Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Lund was a little too slow when Kent Blomqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Bjärred FF's Morgan Edström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Lund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oliver Sjögren hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bjärred FF's Alf Palmquist got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulf Pettersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bengt Gunnarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Peter Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Skog made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Pettersson in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Emanuel Jansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peppes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bjärred FF the free kick. After 59 played minutes Peppes FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Jansson. Viggo Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Edström in the 60th minute of play. Kent Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Lund having to interfere. Kent Blomqvist struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Viggo Lund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bjärred FF. Viggo Lund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Edström in the 73rd minute of the match. Oliver Sjögren's late challenge caught a Bjärred FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Sjögren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 76th match minute, Peppes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Ulf Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Peter Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Lund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Blomqvist in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulf Pettersson in the 82nd minute of play forced Bjärred FF's goalkeeper Peter Skog to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulf Pettersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casper Håning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Viggo Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 89 minutes, Casper Håning managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bjärred FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casper Håning was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 90 played minutes Peppes FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Sjögren. In the 93rd minute, Peppes FC's Oliver Sjögren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Skog. Peter Skog yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Morgan Edström came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Bjärred FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Morgan Edström couldn't finish the play.
