Vännäsby BF's Evert Ekström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Soned in the 7th minute of play. In the 19th minute Villiam Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Åkerberg made a kick off. After some careless play in the Vännäsby BF defense, Villiam Forsberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Ekström. The Vännäsby BF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Ekström should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Vännäsby BF's goalkeeper Evert Ekström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tord Ingemarsson. Evert Ekström made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tord Ingemarsson sent off a good shot on target. Tord Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Evert Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mattias Ennegren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Evert Ekström made a huge save. After having played for 77 minutes, Robert Dahlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hällevadsholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robert Dahlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 78th play minutes Villiam Forsberg shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Evert Ekström and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Robert Dahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hällevadsholm fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After 86 minutes of play, Hällevadsholm's Villiam Forsberg made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evert Ekström was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 94 minutes, Johnny Sundberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vännäsby BF and the Hällevadsholm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute, Johnny Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Vännäsby BF's zone, Robert Dahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Ekström came out of the goal and Robert Dahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby BF's Fredric Strömberg got a free kick in the 97th minute. Hällevadsholm's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
