After a defensive mix-up in Hemavan's zone, Peter Telin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Wickander came out of the goal and Peter Telin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Telin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Bengt Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennet Lövgren charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kennet Lövgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hemavan getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Kennet Lövgren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Yxlan's Karl-Åke Vase got a free kick in the 12th minute. Per Bammerman didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hemavan's Astor Dorio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 17 minutes into the game, Yxlan's Peter Telin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Wickander made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Bengt Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Vase in the 30th minute of the match. When Kennet Lövgren was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 31 minutes had been played. After 31 played minutes Hemavan got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Lövgren. If Peter Telin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Olof Petersson's late challenge caught a Hemavan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olof Petersson helped the player get up and apologised. Olof Petersson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Åke Vase to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torsten Forsman got free with Per Bammerman in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Åke Vase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bengt Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Telin in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute Karl-Åke Vase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Wickander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Karl-Åke Vase cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Bengt Wickander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Karl-Åke Vase had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The referee ignored Yxlan's protests and gave Marcus Emander a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Yxlan getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Marcus Emander hit a great ball. Ingemar Tillman hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Yxlan's Peter Telin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Telin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute Astor Dorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per Bammerman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hemavan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
