The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 16 minutes, Ove Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Våmhus BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ove Stål was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Now You See Me's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Molander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ove Stål. Ove Stål scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Molander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Lindqvist in the 35th minute of play forced Now You See Me's goalkeeper Jan-Erik Molander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Now You See Me's Kim Benett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiph Malmström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Now You See Me's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Lindqvist came free, but Jan-Erik Molander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edvin Bruhn to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Allan Wallin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Filiph Malmström, passed just outside the right post. Jan-Erik Molander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the game, one of Now You See Me:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Våmhus BK. Sven-Ove Ström stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jan-Erik Molander. 3-0. Allan Wallin's late challenge caught a Våmhus BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Wallin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Now You See Me's Allan Wallin got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Edvin Bruhn struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Filiph Malmström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Now You See Me. In the 71st minute, Allan Wallin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Våmhus BK's Håkan Bäckman suffered a concussion after 73 minutes and had to leave the field. Olle Vedholm charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Våmhus BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
