Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mellösa BF's Sven Billström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Eugenio Verdes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Wennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Sven Billström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Wennersten was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Leif Wennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Verdes, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Lövestad's Leif Wennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Billström in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes Mellösa BF got a freekick which was hit by Ludwig Eskilsson. 11 minutes into the match, Marcus Olsmann dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patric Alegren, 1-1. A collision led to Lövestad getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Casper Dalström hit a great ball. When Dan Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövestad's protests and gave Dan Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lövestad fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! If Eugenio Verdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Billström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leif Wennersten having to make a save. In the 24th match minute, Lövestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mellösa BF's zone, Birger Rudberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patric Alegren came out of the goal and Birger Rudberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Lövestad booed when Mellösa BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Holmberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Olsmann came free in the 38th minute and tried to tip the ball over Patric Alegren, but to the joy of Mellösa BF's supporters the ball went over. In the 42ndth minute of the game Eugenio Verdes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lövestad's Leif Wennersten was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lövestad's goalkeeper Leif Wennersten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Birger Rudberg made the kick off in the second half. When Anton Deckberg fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lövestad's protests and gave Anton Deckberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Lövestad got a freekick which was hit by Anton Deckberg. Ludwig Eskilsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leif Wennersten. Lövestad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 55 minutes, Anton Holmberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellösa BF and the Lövestad players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mellösa BF getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anton Holmberg hit a great ball. Ludwig Eskilsson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ludwig Eskilsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Ludwig Eskilsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven Billström took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leif Wennersten. Leif Wennersten dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Eugenio Verdes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven Billström might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Wennersten. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Billström ran back to his position shaking his head. Leif Wennersten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Verdes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Marcus Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Billström got free with Leif Wennersten in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the game, Eugenio Verdes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leif Wennersten. Eugenio Verdes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. Lövestad's Leif Wennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Verdes in the 89th minute of play. Leif Wennersten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Billström in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Sven Billström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Wennersten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Verdes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mellösa BF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
