Godofredo Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Asserlind having to interfere. Hjortens BK's Knut Asserlind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hjortens BK from getting a goal against them. Sivert Helander's late challenge caught a Sågmyra BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sivert Helander helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Godofredo Rico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sågmyra BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Rico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Asserlind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Hjortens BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Knut Asserlind should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Anders Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sågmyra BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Knut Asserlind breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the game, Timmy Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Godofredo Rico was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Godofredo Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Knut Asserlind was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Hjortens BK's Knut Asserlind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Rico in the 83rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Rajmund Pölöskei sped through Hjortens BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Knut Asserlind. In the 89th match minute, Sågmyra BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Markusson to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sågmyra BK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Edin Mirić hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes, Sågmyra BK's Claes Gerdberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Knut Asserlind came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sågmyra BK reached it. There was no doubt that Sågmyra BK were the better team. Sågmyra BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
