In the 7th minute Sven-Edvin Ersman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ekeberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Johnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Elias Ekeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Johnsson in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Ekeberg saved Purka FC from getting behind. Brandstorp IFK's Sakarias Ekberg suffered a sore thigh after 20 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Håkan Böcklund kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ekeberg having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Purka FC got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Böcklund. Elias Ekeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Johnsson in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Ekeberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Elias Ekeberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brandstorp IFK. Purka FC's Elias Ekeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Johnsson in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Elias Ekeberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brandstorp IFK were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Purka FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Inge Uggstedt took the corner. The corner ended in Inge Uggstedt almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Purka FC's Elias Ekeberg did a great save. In the 95th minute of the match, Daniel Johnsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elias Ekeberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Brandstorp IFK played a much better game than Purka FC and deserved their victory. The Purka FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
