Spectators: 7255 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Börge Lönn took the kick off in the first half of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Börge Lönn in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hampus Ekegren saved Frölunda BK from getting behind. Eskil Svensson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Erik Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesper Pihlwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hampus Ekegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evert Lund in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Herman Brolin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erik Eckegren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miola BK's Erik Eckegren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Miola BK from getting a goal against them. Hampus Ekegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Strömberg in the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Frölunda BK's Ernst Dahlbom got a free kick in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Brolin in the 28th minute of play forced Miola BK's goalkeeper Erik Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Miola BK's zone, Karl Gummeson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Eckegren came out of the goal and Karl Gummeson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Frölunda BK's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Ferm came free, but Hampus Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Miola BK's Erik Eckegren got control of the ball when Jesper Pihlwall tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hampus Ekegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Jörgen Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Hampus Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Hampus Ekegren made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Börge Lönn sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Miola BK booed when Frölunda BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th minute of the game, Peter Norström landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Frölunda BK made a substitution. Sivert Nordström replaced Peter Norström. After a rather tough play, Miola BK's Börge Lönn got a free kick in the 57th minute. Hampus Ekegren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfons Strömberg went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Karl Gummeson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Erik Eckegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Jesper Pihlwall notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Miola BK's Erik Eckegren. Erik Eckegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars-Erik Grep hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Karl Gummeson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Erik Eckegren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frölunda BK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
