The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Miola BK booed when Hisingen Boys BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wiktor Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henrik Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Ferm, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Erik Eckegren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Markusson in the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Miola BK's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Markusson came free, but Erik Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börge Lönn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Telin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Alfons Strömberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Markusson in the 14th minute of play forced Miola BK's goalkeeper Erik Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th match minute, Hisingen Boys BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Forssell to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Telin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Strömberg in the 19th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Egil Ferm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Telin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evert Lund in the 37th minute of play forced Hisingen Boys BK's goalkeeper Henrik Telin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Börge Lönn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Telin having to interfere. Börge Lönn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Henrik Telin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Egil Ferm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henrik Telin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Börge Lönn's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Miola BK's Eskil Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miola BK's Alfons Strömberg got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Börge Lönn in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Telin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henrik Telin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börge Lönn, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 played minutes Hisingen Boys BK got a freekick which was hit by Viktor Norström. Börge Lönn might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Telin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börge Lönn ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfons Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Börge Lönn got free with Henrik Telin in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Miola BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
