Per Åkerström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Georg Magnusson made a huge save. Douglas Bäck struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Georg Magnusson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Superstars. 30 minutes into the match, Lödöse IF's goal looked a bit too open when Rutger Jönsätt came free, but Georg Magnusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Lödöse IF's goalkeeper Georg Magnusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per Åkerström. After a defensive mix-up in Lödöse IF's zone, Per Åkerström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Magnusson came out of the goal and Per Åkerström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Superstars's Niklas Lindgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Kellberg in the 35th minute of play. Rutger Jönsätt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Georg Magnusson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Vilgot Örtendal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benjamin Molin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjamin Molin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niklas Lindgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. The tension between the FC Superstars and the Lödöse IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, FC Superstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Bäck to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC Superstars's zone, Erik Kellberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Lindgren came out of the goal and Erik Kellberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Lödöse IF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Superstars from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
