The referee ignored Grödinge IFK's protests and gave Åke Martinsson a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Grödinge IFK's Åke Martinsson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Sven-Olof Josefsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Aaron Vester made a huge save. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grödinge IFK's goalkeeper Aaron Vester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Aaron Vester successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute Vårby Gård FC were awarded a corner. Adrian Kling went to the cornerflag to take it. Vårby Gård FC's Adrian Kling was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aaron Vester in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Joacim Hök's late challenge caught a Grödinge IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joacim Hök helped the player get up and apologised. Aaron Vester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joacim Hök in the 16th minute of the match. If Manfred Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joacim Hök fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Vester having to interfere. Manfred Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Leo Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 27 minutes of play, Grödinge IFK's Manfred Nyman made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leo Pihlwall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oskar Hegg's late challenge caught a Grödinge IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskar Hegg helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Vårby Gård FC got a freekick which was hit by Oskar Hegg. Aaron Ström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Leo Pihlwall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Axel Åman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vårby Gård FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grödinge IFK the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Vårby Gård FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Åman to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Nyman in the 44th minute of play forced Vårby Gård FC's goalkeeper Leo Pihlwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Pihlwall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Nyman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Aaron Ström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Pihlwall having to interfere. If Joacim Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grödinge IFK's Aaron Vester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Josefsson in the 62nd minute of play. Vårby Gård FC's Leo Pihlwall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Ström in the 65th minute of play. Grödinge IFK's Aaron Ström got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-2 became the score in the 69th minute when Aaron Ström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Leo Pihlwall was a little too slow when Manfred Nyman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 77th minute, Joacim Hök left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vårby Gård FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Aaron Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joacim Hök, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Manfred Nyman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Leo Pihlwall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aaron Ström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 87th minute. Grödinge IFK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Andreas Hägert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andreas Hägert struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Leo Pihlwall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grödinge IFK. Grödinge IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
