Spectators: 7298 (Terracing: 5525, Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 80) FC Hårbjörn's Adrian Östlund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Hårbjörn's Sonny Bröms slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sonny Björkqvist. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Jim Lidström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Sonny Björkqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th match minute, Floby RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berg to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the game, Rutger Paulin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hårbjörn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floby RK the free kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Håkan Andberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Floby RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Håkan Andberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Ingvar Österlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hårbjörn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Floby RK the free kick. A collision led to FC Hårbjörn getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Ingvar Österlund hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Östlund in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sonny Björkqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Olof Winström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christoffer Browald went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Emanuel Nordgren hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Per-Olof Winström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Andberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. During the 42nd minute of the match Ingvar Österlund completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ingvar Österlund a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Floby RK booed when FC Hårbjörn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Österlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Floby RK were awarded a corner. Tomas Berg went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christoffer Browald stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Håkan Andberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
