He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Torekov FK reached it. In the 13th match minute, Mjölksyra IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Sundin to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Östen Soned ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sune Eklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. With an all-out effort, Mjölksyra IF's Sune Eklund threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nils-Emil Danielsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Sune Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Emil Danielsson in the 25th minute of the match. Sune Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Mjölksyra IF got a corner. Torekov FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nils-Emil Danielsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mjölksyra IF booed when Torekov FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Wallin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niklas Sjögren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Torekov FK's goalkeeper Sune Eklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Niklas Sjögren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Walmarsson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Niklas Sjögren put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Kurt Walmarsson. Sune Eklund came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Mjölksyra IF's Nils-Emil Danielsson. But to his dismay, Nils-Emil Danielsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The Mjölksyra IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Torekov FK's performance. The match ended with a win for Torekov FK.
