Kåge's Roy Ahlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ove Svanér was the one to do the kick off. Esbjörn Ljungberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Claes Brask made a huge save. Sivert Biörling charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sivert Biörling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alfta booed when Kåge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sivert Biörling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claes Brask came out of the goal and Ove Svanér tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Svanér in the 70th minute of play forced Kåge's goalkeeper Claes Brask to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Alfta's Esbjörn Ljungberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claes Brask narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Kåge's Ivar Kling sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilhelm Ödmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 84 played minutes Ove Svanér rounded Kåge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Kåge's Claes Brask proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Kåge from getting a goal against them. Sivert Biörling might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilhelm Ödmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sivert Biörling ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivar Kling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilhelm Ödmann having to interfere. Wilhelm Ödmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Ahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfta's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
