The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Klubbens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Johan Söderström came free, but Zsigmond Madarász reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Kent Palmquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Inge Hökqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Palmquist in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Stjerndahl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Allbom to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Åke Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Hökqvist having to interfere. Stjerndahl FC's Inge Hökqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Palmquist in the 26th minute of play. If Joakim Lagerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Stjerndahl FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Karl-Johan Söderström hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Palmquist in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inge Hökqvist saved Stjerndahl FC from getting behind. Karl-Åke Askstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Hökqvist having to interfere. Inge Hökqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Palmquist in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Karl-Åke Askstedt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Inge Hökqvist, passed just outside the right post. Karl-Johan Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zsigmond Madarász tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Malmberg in the 48th minute of play forced Klubbens IF's goalkeeper Zsigmond Madarász to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Johan Söderström made a kick off. Kent Palmquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Hökqvist having to interfere. Kent Palmquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stig-Ove Björnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Stjerndahl FC defense, Kent Palmquist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Inge Hökqvist. The Stjerndahl FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Inge Hökqvist should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Kent Palmquist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Inge Hökqvist was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Inge Hökqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kent Palmquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Kent Palmquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stjerndahl FC's Inge Hökqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kent Palmquist came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Klubbens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Palmquist couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Palmquist in the 71st minute of play forced Stjerndahl FC's goalkeeper Inge Hökqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Klubbens IF booed when Stjerndahl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. August Siöman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inge Hökqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kent Palmquist's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes in the game, Emanuel Malmberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zsigmond Madarász having to interfere. If Kent Palmquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Stjerndahl FC's zone, Einar Trillkott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inge Hökqvist came out of the goal and Einar Trillkott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Klubbens IF's Stig-Ove Björnsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 87th minute, Kent Palmquist made a precise shot to the right of Inge Hökqvist. Stjerndahl FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Stig-Ove Björnsson charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stig-Ove Björnsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Klubbens IF's Stig-Ove Björnsson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Klubbens IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
