Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mårten Asklöv started the match with the kick off. Ingemar Zachrisson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute Mårten Asklöv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Wallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars-Erik Westerstrand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Rolf Vedholm made a huge save. When Ted Fransson fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fällfors's protests and gave Ted Fransson a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Fällfors got a freekick which was hit by Ted Fransson. In the 9th minute, Mantorp's Roland Ahlroht ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rolf Vedholm. Rolf Vedholm yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A collision led to Fällfors getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Mårten Asklöv hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fällfors's Ted Fransson got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Fällfors's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Ahlroht came free, but Rolf Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Wallander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Roland Ahlroht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fällfors's Rolf Vedholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mårten Asklöv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Wallander having to interfere. Rolf Vedholm was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Roland Ahlroht capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roland Ahlroht really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Mantorp's Roland Ahlroht got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Sigman kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Mantorp's Roland Ahlroht in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fällfors's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Fällfors's Rolf Vedholm got control of the ball when Lars-Erik Westerstrand tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 47 played minutes Fällfors got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Sigman. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roland Ahlroht was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Roland Ahlroht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fällfors's Rolf Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Westerstrand in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Roland Ahlroht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Roland Ahlroht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolf Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Ahlroht in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Fällfors getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ted Fransson hit a great ball. If Lars-Erik Westerstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Ahlroht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Vedholm having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Roland Ahlroht got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rolf Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mantorp's Lars-Erik Westerstrand got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Ahlroht in the 84th minute of play forced Fällfors's goalkeeper Rolf Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fällfors's Rolf Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Westerstrand in the 89th minute of play. Lars-Erik Westerstrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lars-Erik Westerstrand came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mantorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars-Erik Westerstrand couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars-Erik Westerstrand in the 96th minute of play forced Fällfors's goalkeeper Rolf Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Roland Ahlroht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolf Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mantorp's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
