Per Hellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Lindqvist hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The supporters of I RULE THE SHOW booed when Gunnebo BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viggo Bagge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnebo BK's zone, Per Hellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Magne Ekegren came out of the goal and Per Hellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Per Hellbom came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the I RULE THE SHOW fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Hellbom couldn't finish the play. When Viggo Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Gunnebo BK fans jumped to their feet. Magne Ekegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for I RULE THE SHOW. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Gunnebo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Hellbom came free, but Magne Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as I RULE THE SHOW's Per Hellbom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Magne Ekegren. That made the score 1-0 after 32 minutes of play. Per Hellbom scored 2-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magne Ekegren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Gunnebo BK's Magne Ekegren got control of the ball when Ludvig Wennerberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Per Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Wennerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Ekegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Gunnebo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viggo Bagge to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Hellbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Per Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Gunnebo BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Arne Jakobsson to maneuver through the defense. Ludvig Wennerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Magne Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Gunnebo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Hellbom came free, but Magne Ekegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Per Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Ekegren having to interfere. Magne Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Hellbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Gunnebo BK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Sven-Arne Jakobsson hit a great ball. Per Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Ekegren having to interfere. Magne Ekegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casper Ljungberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Per Hellbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When I RULE THE SHOW's Per Hellbom in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gunnebo BK's goalie prevented a goal. Per Hellbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Magne Ekegren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Per Hellbom notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gunnebo BK's Magne Ekegren. Magne Ekegren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Per Hellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Magne Ekegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. I RULE THE SHOW had played much better football throughout.
