Jan-Ove Hult took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Lundqvist. Vilhelm Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Peter Åkesson during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 12 played minutes Västerås SK got a freekick which was hit by Peter Åkesson. When Peter Åkesson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. In the 14th match minute, Västerås SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Åkesson to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Västerås SK's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Henriksson came free, but Vilhelm Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Henriksson took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vilhelm Lundqvist. Vilhelm Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Peter Magnusson might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jerry Linquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Magnusson ran back to his position shaking his head. If Peter Magnusson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hans Henriksson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Tony Rudkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Västerås SK's Vilhelm Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Ove Hult in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Jan-Ove Hult shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Åke Jonasson's late challenge caught a Västerås SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Åke Jonasson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alex mannar fc getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Åke Jonasson hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Peter Magnusson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 44 minutes, Peter Magnusson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Västerås SK and the Alex mannar fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peter Magnusson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hans Henriksson to make the kick off. If Hans Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Alex mannar fc's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Magnusson came free, but Jerry Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute Hans Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vilhelm Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Västerås SK's Vilhelm Lundqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Västerås SK from getting a goal against them. Peter Magnusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Linquist having to interfere. Marko Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerry Linquist having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hans Henriksson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vilhelm Lundqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Wiktor Liljeström came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Västerås SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiktor Liljeström couldn't finish the play. Peter Magnusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Jerry Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Kenny Ekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Alex mannar fc's Nils Arvidsson in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 88 played minutes Västerås SK got a freekick which was hit by Wiktor Liljeström. After 94 played minutes Alex mannar fc got a freekick which was hit by Viggo Söderström. When Västerås SK's Peter Magnusson in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alex mannar fc's goalie prevented a goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Alex mannar fc were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Västerås SK side.
