The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 played minutes Barsele got a freekick which was hit by Marc Lindgren. Erland Gudmundsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pontus Söderström scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolf Myhr, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Persson's late challenge caught a Barsele's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Persson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Monkeyboys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Persson to maneuver through the defense. After 20 played minutes, Barsele's Jens-Ove Grönlund shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rudolf Myhr came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barsele reached it. 25 minutes into the match, Pontus Söderström notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Monkeyboys's Rudolf Myhr. Rudolf Myhr was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Kurt Lindblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Bäck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Jonas Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pontus Söderström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Pontus Söderström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rudolf Myhr was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 39 played minutes Barsele got a freekick which was hit by Ivar Sandberg. Monkeyboys's Rudolf Myhr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Lindgren in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Barsele's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Anton Pååk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pontus Söderström made a kick off. Pontus Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Myhr having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Robin Bruse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monkeyboys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barsele the free kick. Jens-Ove Grönlund placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Jens-Ove Grönlund's late challenge caught a Monkeyboys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Lindblom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Algren having to interfere. Bertil Bäck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pontus Söderström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rudolf Myhr tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Ludvig Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Ove Grönlund, 79 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pontus Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the match, Monkeyboys's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Söderström came free, but Rudolf Myhr reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Pååk in the 93rd minute of play forced Barsele's goalkeeper Valentin Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monkeyboys's Kurt Lindblom got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertil Bäck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Myhr having to interfere.
