An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Jonatan Tunander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gunnar Lustig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egon Glanselius in the 5th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egon Glanselius in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Lustig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 8th minute, Egon Glanselius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunnar Lustig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Arvid Widberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC BARCELONA and the Ayuub players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arvid Widberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Arvid Widberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sebastian Koch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Egon Glanselius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunnar Lustig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jonatan Tunander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonatan Tunander's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 44thth minute, Gunnar Lustig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arvid Widberg to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egon Glanselius in the 52nd minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Gunnar Lustig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayuub's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Sjögren in the 54th minute. The corner led Ayuub's Jonas Sjögren to fire away a dangerous shot which Gunnar Lustig despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ayuub booed when FC BARCELONA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvid Widberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Egon Glanselius sped through FC BARCELONA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gunnar Lustig. Ayuub were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after FC BARCELONA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonas Sjögren took the corner. Jonas Sjögren made a great header on Ayuub's corner, it was just that FC BARCELONA's Gunnar Lustig managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Ayuub's Jonatan Tunander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gunnar Lustig narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC BARCELONA's Gustav Bogren got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes, Ayuub's Jonas Sjögren shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gunnar Lustig came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ayuub reached it. 79 minutes into the game, Egon Glanselius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gunnar Lustig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gunnar Lustig came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ayuub's Jonatan Tunander. But to his dismay, Jonatan Tunander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gunnar Lustig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Glanselius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnar Lustig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egon Glanselius's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Egon Glanselius struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Gunnar Lustig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayuub. Gunnar Lustig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Tunander went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. FC BARCELONA's Gunnar Lustig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Glanselius in the 94th minute of play. Ayuub's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
