Egil Drake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AIK-UTD's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the match, Bobby-N-Word's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Lindholm came free, but Egil Drake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvald Bergström couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Lindholm made a kick off. In the 57th minute, Viggo Olsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olof Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Egil Drake tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osvald Bergström in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egil Drake, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Egil Drake made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Osvald Bergström sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Olof Lindholm took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Egil Drake to make any attempt to save it. In the 74th minute Olof Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Drake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Evert Tidéksson fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AIK-UTD's protests and gave Evert Tidéksson a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AIK-UTD getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Evert Tidéksson hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Billy Unesson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, AIK-UTD's Egil Drake threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olof Lindholm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Billy Unesson might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charlie Söderberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Unesson ran back to his position shaking his head. Viggo Olsson's late challenge caught a AIK-UTD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viggo Olsson helped the player get up and apologised. The AIK-UTD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
