Spectators: 6683 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ingmar Alfors made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Skillingaryd BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingmar Alfors came free, but Boris Vennerlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Skillingaryd BK's Sigvard Jansson got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jonathan Bengtsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skillingaryd BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Bengtsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egon Blom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Jonathan Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egon Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Ove Pååk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Egon Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Vennerkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Vennerkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Vennerlund having to interfere. Jonathan Bengtsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Egon Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Jonathan Bengtsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egon Blom. Iggesund's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Bengtsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Otto Isaksson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When Skillingaryd BK's Jonathan Bengtsson in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iggesund's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Iggesund's Adam Gustafsson got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Iggesund players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Skillingaryd BK were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathan Bengtsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Joacim Hammarbäck hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Patrick Kiempe's late challenge caught a Iggesund's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Kiempe helped the player get up and apologised. After 55 played minutes Skillingaryd BK got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Kiempe. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingmar Alfors in the 63rd minute of play forced Skillingaryd BK's goalkeeper Boris Vennerlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rickard Vennerkvist took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boris Vennerlund. Boris Vennerlund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jonathan Bengtsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Egon Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Otto Isaksson got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Otto Isaksson hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Iggesund's zone, Jan-Ove Pååk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Blom came out of the goal and Jan-Ove Pååk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute, Jonathan Bengtsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan-Ove Pååk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Egon Blom made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Iggesund's zone, Gilbert Vennerkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egon Blom came out of the goal and Gilbert Vennerkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Jan-Ove Pååk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skillingaryd BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Ove Pååk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
