Alexander Grubb made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Sven-Edvin Bjursell sent off a good shot on target. Jonny Söderman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Fredriksson in the 26th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match, Sven-Edvin Bjursell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alexander Grubb was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Sven-Edvin Bjursell took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Alexander Grubb to make any attempt to save it. Sven-Edvin Bjursell took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexander Grubb. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vincent Fredriksson to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vincent Fredriksson in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonny Söderman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vincent Fredriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jonny Söderman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 58th minute of the match Hampus Valström completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Jonny Söderman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Maradona. After 66 played minutes Ärla IF got a freekick which was hit by Niclas Eriksson. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ärla IF's goalkeeper Jonny Söderman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Olov Sjöö charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olov Sjöö the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonny Söderman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fabian Tholsson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sigvard Wästerberg got free with Jonny Söderman in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
