Gabriel Hård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vidar Lundin in the 17th minute of play. Petter Harman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens Svanér in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, Ricochets FC's August Jonsson got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Bergman in the 21st minute of play forced Ricochets FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Hård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Hård didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerry Bergman went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Jerry Bergman got free in front of the goal in the 28th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Gabriel Hård was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Göran Örn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petter Harman having to interfere. August Jonsson's late challenge caught a Malme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. August Jonsson helped the player get up and apologised. August Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Alberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Hård. Ricochets FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torbjörn Alberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Malme were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerry Bergman made a kick off. Gabriel Hård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Bergman in the 58th minute of the match. August Jonsson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Björn Bennet fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ricochets FC's protests and gave Björn Bennet a yellow card for diving instead. Jerry Bergman struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Gabriel Hård didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malme. Gabriel Hård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vidar Lundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Vidar Lundin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gabriel Hård was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Gabriel Hård didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malme. 86 minutes into the match, Malme's Jerry Bergman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Hård narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jerry Bergman had several of the Ricochets FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Gabriel Hård as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Malme's Jerry Bergman in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ricochets FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match was over Malme could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ricochets FC throughout the match.
