The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Martin Liljeström's late challenge caught a GayEgget FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Liljeström helped the player get up and apologised. Karl-Axel Hammarström kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Olle Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Vallman having to interfere. Gösta Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Tommy Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olle Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tommy Vallman made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Martin Liljeström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gösta Sundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Rolfstorp FK booed when GayEgget FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Hybbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolfstorp FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
