The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Dag Kvalfält had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Johannes Runeberg. Maria Sportverein's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dag Kvalfält was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Johannes Runeberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Kvalfält in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Runeberg saved Maria Sportverein from getting behind. If Torbjörn Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th match minute, Maria Sportverein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Säv to maneuver through the defense. Moyseh Boys were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Maria Sportverein's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Petter Julin took the corner. After a rather tough play, Maria Sportverein's Einar Kilberg got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Kvalfält in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johannes Runeberg saved Maria Sportverein from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Blomqvist in the 39th minute of play forced Moyseh Boys's goalkeeper Sture Fridlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joseph Fransson kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Säv got free with Sture Fridlund in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Maria Sportverein getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Ernst Göransson hit a great ball. Staffan Persson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Torbjörn Öberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 69 minutes, Staffan Persson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moyseh Boys and the Maria Sportverein players grew even worse after the yellow card. Staffan Persson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Daniel Blomqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sture Fridlund having to interfere. Moyseh Boys's Staffan Persson got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Staffan Persson off the ground. After a rather tough play, Moyseh Boys's Staffan Persson got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute Daniel Blomqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sture Fridlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Moyseh Boys's Torbjörn Öberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johannes Runeberg. Johannes Runeberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Sture Fridlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göran Deckberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. If Dag Kvalfält had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag Kvalfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johannes Runeberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Torbjörn Öberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Johannes Runeberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torbjörn Öberg ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Torbjörn Öberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moyseh Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Torbjörn Öberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes Runeberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Moyseh Boys could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Maria Sportverein throughout the match.
