Spectators: 7331 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) After a rather tough play, Västerås United FC's Marko Utfal got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Ronny Åhman came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Grästorp FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Åhman couldn't finish the play. If Magne Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carl Hedkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dag Johnsson's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Carl Hedkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Johnsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Carl Hedkvist came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Grästorp FF's Simon Olofsson. But to his dismay, Simon Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Georg Aspengren's late challenge caught a Grästorp FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georg Aspengren helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Grästorp FF booed when Västerås United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Aspengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Grästorp FF's Dag Johnsson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Västerås United FC's goalie prevented a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Grästorp FF's Magne Hegg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carl Hedkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Grästorp FF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Jönsson. Björn Askelöf struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Jim Martinsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Västerås United FC. If Dag Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 minutes of play, Grästorp FF's Magne Hegg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Hedkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Alex Lindqvist fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grästorp FF's protests and gave Alex Lindqvist a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Lindqvist hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Björkman in the 42nd minute of play forced Grästorp FF's goalkeeper Jim Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Hedkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Johnsson in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Magne Hegg made a kick off. If Magne Hegg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronny Åhman charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronny Åhman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Ronny Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Jönsson during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Axel Jönsson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Dag Johnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Hedkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Johnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Magne Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Carl Hedkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 83rd minute of the match Axel Jönsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Axel Jönsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 84 played minutes Grästorp FF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Jönsson. In the 86th minute, Dag Johnsson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carl Hedkvist, passed just outside the right post. Magne Hegg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronny Åhman kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Robin Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Västerås United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robin Björkman couldn't finish the play. The Västerås United FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Grästorp FF were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
