In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Malmköping IK's goalkeeper Jimmie Harlén, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Malmköping IK's zone, Bror Nordal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimmie Harlén came out of the goal and Bror Nordal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute Hubert Eliasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Sivert Hellkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pelle Trillkott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimmie Harlén having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Pelle Trillkott managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skoll's supporters rose to their feet, but Pelle Trillkott was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimmie Harlén breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Skoll's Håkan Björnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Skoll got a freekick which was hit by Klas Törnkvist. Bror Nordal struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Jimmie Harlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skoll. If Bror Nordal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pelle Trillkott was the one to do the kick off. Otto Hellgren charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Hellgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Skoll's Otto Hellgren got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Eliasson in the 67th minute of play forced Skoll's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Pelle Trillkott managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Håkan Björnsson put in a rough tackle. Karl-Erik Martinsson went to the wrong direction when Jens-Åke Rudqvist was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Skoll's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Hubert Eliasson scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Erik Martinsson, making the score, 0-1. If Bror Nordal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Skoll's Karl-Erik Martinsson got control of the ball when Sivert Hellkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paul Fridlund during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paul Fridlund hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Malmköping IK were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Skoll side.
