Elias Kullander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb. Joachim Kollberg got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mark Engström. In the 20th match minute, Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. Allan Beckström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nils Ahlbom hit a great ball. After 25 minutes, Mark Engström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the manchester united and the Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, manchester united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Engström to maneuver through the defense. Sixten Alkvist made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kevin Fors sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match, Ralf Böcklund got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sixten Alkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Börje Brummer scored to the left of an out of position Sixten Alkvist, making the score, 1-0. In the 38th minute, Ralf Böcklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sixten Alkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Allan Beckström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Kullander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Elias Kullander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils Ahlbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonard Svensson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sixten Alkvist. That made the score 3-0 in the 44 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mark Engström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Allan Beckström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Beckström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57thth minute of the game Mark Engström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's Sixten Alkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Allan Beckström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Kullander having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Böcklund came free, but Sixten Alkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's Allan Beckström made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Kullander was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Leonard Svensson came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the manchester united fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Nils Ahlbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's supporters rose to their feet, but Nils Ahlbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Kullander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ove Deckbergh hit a great ball. manchester united's Elias Kullander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save manchester united from getting a goal against them. Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because manchester united had won, even though Svesses Kanoner Bollklubb had held more of the ball.
