Carl Kollberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Olof Mogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Jan-Olof Mogren kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Sture Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sture Dahlberg was the one to do the kick off. Kurt Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Carl Kollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nittorp's zone, Kurt Nyberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carl Kollberg came out of the goal and Kurt Nyberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Nittorp booed when Dals Långed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Nyberg in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Kollberg saved Nittorp from getting behind. Jan-Olof Mogren might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Kollberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Olof Mogren ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Nittorp getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Adrian Arvidsson hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Marc Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Nittorp's goalkeeper Carl Kollberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Olof Mogren. Carl Kollberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt Nyberg in the 88th minute of play. Dals Långed's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
