In the last second Jerry Siöman throw himself and got hold of the ball when Greger Ekblom in the 3rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. When Simlångsdalen FK's Greger Ekblom in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Börje Sandell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucas Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Lucas Hellström came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Trödje IK's Börje Sandell. But to his dismay, Börje Sandell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 20th minute, one of Simlångsdalen FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Simlångsdalen FK. Linus Harlén placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 33 minutes into the match, Trödje IK's Börje Sandell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucas Hellström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ingemar Hedbom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trödje IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingemar Hedbom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Skoglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jerry Siöman made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Simlångsdalen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Sandell came free, but Lucas Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Simlångsdalen FK defense, Börje Sandell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Hellström. The Simlångsdalen FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Hellström should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Greger Ekblom was the one to do the kick off. When Börje Sandell came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Trödje IK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Börje Sandell couldn't finish the play. Ivan Skoglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jerry Siöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Simlångsdalen FK booed when Trödje IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Simlångsdalen FK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Sandell came free, but Lucas Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Börje Sandell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lucas Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Trödje IK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
