An unexpectedly hard shot by Vilhelm Bollström in the 3rd minute of play forced Byxelkrok's goalkeeper Sebastian Njurenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Njurenius made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when André Ahlin sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Njurenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Bollström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Byxelkrok's Sebastian Njurenius got control of the ball when André Ahlin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Njurenius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alf Skager showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Eddie Kinnman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sebastian Njurenius. Eddie Kinnman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 33rd minute Alf Skager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Njurenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. August Hedman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Byxelkrok's Vilhelm Morat in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Åre FK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 48th minute of the match, Vilhelm Bollström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sebastian Njurenius saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 52 minutes, Alf Skager managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åre FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alf Skager was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilhelm Morats short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Emanuel Jonasson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vilhelm Morat got free with Emanuel Jonasson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. August Hedman hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Byxelkrok's Sebastian Njurenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Skager in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Åre FK booed when Byxelkrok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gustafsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Njurenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Ahlin in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Byxelkrok's goal looked a bit too open when André Ahlin came free, but Sebastian Njurenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Vilhelm Morat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddie Kinnman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After 89 played minutes Byxelkrok got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Knutsson. Vilhelm Morat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Emanuel Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Knutsson succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 93rd playminute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Åre FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Byxelkrok had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
