In the 26th minute, Alf Skager ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bertil Boklund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bertil Boklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Skager's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tärnaby's Kenneth Nyman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Emanuel Jonasson. That made the score 2-1 after 38 minutes of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kenneth Nyman made a kick off. The supporters of Tärnaby booed when Åre FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Alf Skager had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Ahlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Boklund having to interfere. Vilhelm Bollström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Boklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play.
