Gustav Påk helped the player get up and apologised. Bo-Erik Harlén was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 7th minute, Stefan Ekeberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match, Martin Viberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bengt Nordkvist saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th minute Martin Viberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Ingelstad's goalkeeper Bengt Nordkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Widberg. If Martin Viberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gustav Påk came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Ingelstad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Påk couldn't finish the play. Martin Viberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bengt Nordkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reine Widberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Viberg was the one to do the kick off. Bengt Nordkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Widberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Viberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Nordkvist having to interfere. In the 74th minute Reine Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Nordkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Gunnarsbyn's goalkeeper Joachim Lidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arvid Falkrantz. After a defensive mix-up in Gunnarsbyn's zone, Arvid Falkrantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Lidman came out of the goal and Arvid Falkrantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reine Widberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Nordkvist having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Gunnarsbyn's Martin Viberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bengt Nordkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ingelstad players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gunnarsbyn.
