After a defensive mix-up in Lesjöfors RK's zone, Kennet Lustig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mats Nordmark came out of the goal and Kennet Lustig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Nils Engman took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Mats Nordmark to make any attempt to save it. 48 minutes into the match, Lesjöfors RK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Engman came free, but Mats Nordmark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sivert Simonsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nils Engman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mats Nordmark tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennet Lustig might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mats Nordmark. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kennet Lustig ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Lesjöfors RK defense, Nils Engman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mats Nordmark. The Lesjöfors RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mats Nordmark should have stopped the shot. Kennet Lustig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lesjöfors RK's Mats Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils Engman in the 93rd minute of play.
