Mad Bros's Niclas Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Einar Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Ekelund having to interfere. If Einar Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gråskala IF defense, Niclas Vidman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Häll. The Gråskala IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Häll should have stopped the shot. Niclas Vidman might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sonny Häll. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niclas Vidman ran back to his position shaking his head. Joachim Grönberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Ekelund having to interfere. Sonny Häll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Käller in the 39th minute of the match. The Gråskala IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mad Bros were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Niclas Vidman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Pontus Grönberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Mad Bros's Walter Kihlberg broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Arne Broman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Joachim Grönberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gråskala IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Grönberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Mad Bros's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Grönberg came free, but Tomas Ekelund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Ekelund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Grönberg in the 69th minute of the match. Fredric Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Sonny Häll tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mad Bros's Tomas Ekelund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joachim Grönberg in the 80th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Mad Bros's Sonny Häll threw himself towards the right post 89 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Niclas Vidman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Mad Bros's Niclas Vidman in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gråskala IF's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mad Bros walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
