Spectators: 7318 (Terracing: 5490, Seating: 1683, VIP seats: 145) Olov Falkrantz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olov Falkrantz got free with Kurt Fredriksson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonatan Sandell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Eriksson in the 5th minute of play. After 5 played minutes Sundborn got a freekick which was hit by Erling Lindström. Sundborn's Jonatan Sandell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Bolander in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes in the game, Melker Hybbert fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kurt Fredriksson having to interfere. The throw-in from David Arvidsson in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sundborn's Rikard Sundin. If Olov Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melker Hybbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sundborn's Erling Lindström quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Per Bremming, made in the 21st minute of the game. Olov Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Kurt Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Jonasson in the 26th minute of play forced Sundborn's goalkeeper Jonatan Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Sundborn booed when Gunnarsbyn FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Bremming didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonatan Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigvard Eriksson made a kick off. Rikard Sundin kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Harry Hult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnarsbyn FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry Hult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonatan Sandell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62ndth minute of the game Melker Hybbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gunnarsbyn FK's Kurt Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sundborn's goalkeeper Jonatan Sandell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Bolander. After 68 played minutes Sundborn got a freekick which was hit by Rikard Sundin. Olov Falkrantz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Kurt Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olov Falkrantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olov Falkrantz in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Melker Hybbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Gunnarsbyn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Arvidsson to maneuver through the defense. Jonatan Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigvard Eriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
