The supporters of Lingbo BK booed when FC Fortitudine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Palmquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörgen Grep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Grep in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the FC Fortitudine defense, Jörgen Grep kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henning Dahlquist. The FC Fortitudine fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henning Dahlquist should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Lingbo BK's Magne Målare got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 26 played minutes Lingbo BK got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Österlund. Jörgen Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Dahlquist having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Hampus Österlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lingbo BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Fortitudine the free kick. After 46 played minutes Lingbo BK got a freekick which was hit by Hampus Österlund.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Erik Wallengren made a kick off. Henning Dahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Grep in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to FC Fortitudine getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Patrik Eklund hit a great ball. Jörgen Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Dahlquist having to interfere. Henning Dahlquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Grep in the 61st minute of the match. Jens-Erik Wallengren took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Dahlquist. Henning Dahlquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lingbo BK's attentive Magne Målare managed to snatch the ball when Paul Högberg made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. Jörgen Grep took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henning Dahlquist. Henning Dahlquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 72nd minute of the match, Ted Borre tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Snäll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 77 minutes into the game, Lingbo BK's Jörgen Grep nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. FC Fortitudine's Emanuel Holmgren got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hampus Österlund kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Ted Borre took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Hans Snäll to make any attempt to save it. 93 minutes into the game, Lingbo BK's Jens-Erik Wallengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henning Dahlquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. When the referee ended the match the Lingbo BK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
