In the 6th minute of the match, Tony Vollander tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Snäll saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lingbo BK's Hans Snäll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Lingbo BK from getting a goal against them. Hans Snäll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Åström in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Wallengren in the 22nd minute of play forced Vännäsby IFK's goalkeeper Boris Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match Lingbo BK got a corner. Vännäsby IFK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Bark ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Lingbo BK's corner Michael Bark fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Boris Berggren quite easily take care of the ball. Vännäsby IFK's Boris Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Wallengren in the 25th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vännäsby IFK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Michael Bark was slow to take the kick. During this time Lingbo BK's players had a chance to rest. Jörgen Grep fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Berggren having to interfere. Boris Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Wallengren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby IFK's Axel Wester got a free kick in the 34th minute. Boris Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Erik Wallengren in the 38th minute of the match. When Jörgen Grep came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Lingbo BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jörgen Grep couldn't finish the play. Jens-Erik Wallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Boris Berggren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boris Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Jens-Erik Wallengren made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Vännäsby IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Åström to maneuver through the defense. After 53 played minutes Lingbo BK got a freekick which was hit by Magne Målare. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Åström in the 55th minute of play forced Lingbo BK's goalkeeper Hans Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Lingbo BK's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Åström came free, but Hans Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Jens-Erik Wallengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Boris Berggren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boris Berggren made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jens-Erik Wallengren sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vännäsby IFK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Simon Skarkman hit a great ball. Lingbo BK's Hans Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Åström in the 70th minute of play. Boris Berggren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörgen Grep in the 74th minute of play forced Vännäsby IFK's goalkeeper Boris Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Tony Vollander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jens-Erik Wallengren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Vännäsby IFK's Carl Björklund got a free kick in the 80th minute. Jörgen Grep struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Boris Berggren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lingbo BK. After 83 played minutes Vännäsby IFK got a freekick which was hit by Simon Skarkman. Vännäsby IFK's Axel Wester got his second yellow card of the match in the 84th minute. The referee ordered Axel Wester off the ground. In the 85th minute, Axel Wester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
