Jax FC's Dag Olsmann got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Damm in the 22nd minute of play forced Jax FC's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Brun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfons Christoffersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Jax FC's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Brun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Arvidsson. Henning Sjöberg hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frans Stålman to strike the kick off in the second half. If Dag Olsmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Jax FC booed when Kila IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Bryngelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 78 played minutes Jax FC got a freekick which was hit by Henning Sjöberg. In the 81st minute Kila IF were awarded a corner. Jens-Åke Örtlund went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 89th minute Alvin Damm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Brun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kila IF's Alvin Damm got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tor Arvidsson struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Karl-Johan Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kila IF. Karl-Johan Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Damm in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
