Spectators: 6669 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Douglas Hegg kicked off to start the match. If Tor Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Nordstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Christoffersson having to interfere. Douglas Hegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Alfons Christoffersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henry Nordstedt struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Alfons Christoffersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalmar FC. Kristoffer Björkdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvin Damm in the 23rd minute of play. Douglas Hegg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Alvin Damm took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kristoffer Björkdahl. Kristoffer Björkdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alfons Christoffersson came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalmar FC's Henry Nordstedt. But to his dismay, Henry Nordstedt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Douglas Hegg in the 46th minute of play forced Kila IF's goalkeeper Alfons Christoffersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kristoffer Björkdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvin Damm, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvin Damm was the one to do the kick off. Kristoffer Björkdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Damm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tor Arvidsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the match, Kila IF's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Nordstedt came free, but Alfons Christoffersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Gustav Forss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 69 minutes, Alvin Damm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kila IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvin Damm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Kila IF's Alvin Damm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristoffer Björkdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tor Arvidsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kristoffer Björkdahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Kalmar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Forss to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute, Kila IF's Tor Arvidsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristoffer Björkdahl. Kristoffer Björkdahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2.
