The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stig-Arne Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Oskar Olsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Arne Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kälkets BK booed when Strumprullarnas BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Kvarnström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stig-Arne Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Arne Löv made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Erik Söderqwist in the 27th minute of play. Tobias Rönn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Bo-Erik Björk made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tobias Rönn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strumprullarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Rönn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bo-Erik Björk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kälkets BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Måns Eckegren was slow to take the kick. During this time Strumprullarnas BK's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Strumprullarnas BK's Dag Kvarnström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Thidén was the one to do the kick off. Stig-Arne Löv showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Erik Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Oskar Olsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Oskar Olsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stig-Arne Löv having to make a save. 62 minutes into the match, Oskar Olsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stig-Arne Löv. Strumprullarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oskar Olsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 69th minute, Leif Spetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans Thidén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Bo-Erik Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bo-Erik Björk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Thidén went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Tobias Rönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niklas Vall hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Hans Thidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo-Erik Björk having to interfere. The Strumprullarnas BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kälkets BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Kälkets BK.
