After a rather tough play, Refuse To Swim's Kim Lövskog got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Zebastian Kristiansson kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Calle Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Lucas Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Athletic Club Onsala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Refuse To Swim were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Calle Berggren was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Athletic Club Onsala's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Robert Käcker was slow to take the kick. During this time Refuse To Swim's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Refuse To Swim's Jimmie Alströmer to fire away a dangerous shot which Lucas Kilberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sven-Oskar Västerberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Calle Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gottfrid Bolander fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Refuse To Swim's protests and gave Gottfrid Bolander a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Refuse To Swim got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Bolander. 75 minutes into the match, Athletic Club Onsala's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Berggren came free, but Lucas Kilberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calle Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Lucas Kilberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Joakim Gullesson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Refuse To Swim's protests and gave Joakim Gullesson a yellow card for diving instead. Joakim Gullesson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Calle Berggren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Refuse To Swim's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
