Spectators: 7335 (Terracing: 5503, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcus Högström kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jonas Lundström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Gabrielsson was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. In the 5th minute, Ivan Borre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sellekatt getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Gunnar Tönnberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Skyttorp FK's Stig Widberg got a free kick in the 10th minute. Emanuel Gabrielsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Lundström's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Jan-Olof Siöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Högström in the 14th minute of the match. Jonas Lundström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sune Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Siöberg having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Skyttorp FK's zone, Jonas Lundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Gabrielsson came out of the goal and Jonas Lundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Gabrielsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Ek in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 40 minutes, Jonas Lundström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sellekatt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Lundström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 43 minutes into the game, Sellekatt's Stig-Åke Ek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Gabrielsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Lundström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonas Lundström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Sellekatt's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Stig-Åke Ek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Jonasson's late challenge caught a Skyttorp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viktor Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sellekatt getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Viktor Jonasson hit a great ball. Sellekatt's Jan-Olof Siöberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Högström in the 67th minute of play. Stig-Åke Ek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Emanuel Gabrielsson made a huge save. In the 71st minute, Stig-Åke Ek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sellekatt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Per-Åke Lägdin's late challenge caught a Skyttorp FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Per-Åke Lägdin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sellekatt getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Per-Åke Lägdin hit a great ball. If Marcus Högström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Sivert Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Christian Alströmmer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emanuel Gabrielsson skillfully saved the ball. Stig-Åke Ek hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Emanuel Gabrielsson came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Sellekatt's Stig-Åke Ek. But to his dismay, Stig-Åke Ek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Skyttorp FK's Emanuel Gabrielsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Skyttorp FK from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Sellekatt could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skyttorp FK throughout the match.
